In addition to increasingly sustainable production, our client is in the process of developing into one of the most sustainable companies in the industry over the next few years and is also increasingly focusing on improved interfaces with partners. In addition to refining its core business, the company is concentrating on developing new, digital products, such as building a unique b2b platform for creating individual products in the corporate design of its customers. To further expand the team and refine existing processes, we are looking for you as:

TASK FOCUS:

  • Analysis and refinement of existing ETL processes and their integration into the existing BI landscape.
  • Development of new data sources to be conceptualized and designed into new processes.
  • Optimization and monitoring of the existing data warehousing infrastructure to maintain a scalable, highperforming data landscape.
  • Point of contact for performance, troubleshooting, scaling, and high availability issues.
  • Evaluation of new tools and technologies for the implementation of new ideas and refinement of the current, best practice-driven standard.

YOUR PROFILE:

  • Completed training as an IT specialist with professional experience or studies in the field of computer science or in a comparable field as well as several years of in data warehousing, business intelligence and/or ETL process optimization.
  • Profound knowledge in common ETL-, ELT- and BI tools (e.g. Exasol, Talend, dbt, Pentaho Data Integration or Microstrategy) as well as a good understanding of databases (SQL, noSQL, in-memory) and SQL queries/commands.
  • Experience in scripting, ideally using Python, LUA or JavaScript within a dedicated Linux environment.
  • A keen eye for business processes (ideally in the eCommerce sector) and their optimization to be performed within an agile, cross-functional team within the company itself.
  • Very good English skills for smooth communication in an English-speaking environment (min. C1) – German language skills are beneficial but not mandatory.
